Just some word vomit

I know it's not quite Friday yet, but my kids are asleep and I am laying in bed so...

A couple random thoughts to start off my weekend:

*My dinner tonight was a candy bar and Diet coke. I really must get to the grocery store tomorrow.
*Josh is going on a boy's weekend trip tomorrow and I'm kind of dreading single parenting all weekend.
*I might just eat Chick fil a for every meal this weekend. Well, except Sunday. Sunday will be beef day.

*I am simultaneously excited and nervous for Savannah starting preschool in a couple weeks.
*I watched Honey boo boo for the first time last night (never thought I would type those words) and it was pretty funny.
*I am pretty sure I have not lost any baby weight in the 9 months since my son was born. I blame the candy bars and Chick fil a.
*I really, really need some new fall clothes but it is so much more fun (and easy) to buy for the kids online instead.

Confession: I have not been to church in a while. Too long. I have been struggling with my anxiety and depression lately and I think this would help. (Maybe?)

Anyways, sorry for the randomness and word vomit.

Happy Friday!

  2. P.S. You've got wicked word-verification, it usually takes me 5 times to get it right. Check out this post - http://www.claybaboons.com/2012/03/internet-thinks-im-robot.html

It's hilarious and part of a movement to wipe out word verification. I promise you you'll get more comments, even if it means me commenting 2-3 extra times.

    1. I am so glad you told me this! I had no idea my word verification was enabled. I hate when i have to do those and always wonder why they have it. I disabled it and thank you! :)

  5. Oh, I'm so with you! Candy bars for dinner are so much better than real food...unless it's Chik-Fil-A. :) And my husband's getting ready to go on a boys trip next weekend and I'm SO dreading 3 days and nights alone with the baby! Single parenting is so scary! I'm wishing us both lots of luck!

  8. Hi Catie! New to your blog. I have a 15 month old and a 3 yo who just started a MMO preschool, so I am with you with your two youngest kids. I am sorry you arent feeling great, but I find church helps too. Maybe if you can sneak away one Sunday to an early service and have the time to sit, pray and reflect. We love going to mass as a family, but with out two crazies, sometime I leave more stressed out than when we got there! If that fails, eat more candy :)

  9. Good luck this weekend without your hubby. It always sounds like a good idea when I encourage my husband to do things with his guy friends, but then when the time comes for me to take care of the kids alone, I regret my decision. But we always make it through and it always feels great knowing you did it all by yourself. Not to mention how much it makes your appreciate your husband (: Thanks for visiting my blog, by the way. I'm following you now (:
