We had such a wonderful weekend! Friday night I made chicken enchiladas and Mexican rice and gave the dogs a much needed bath. Josh got home late because when he got off work, he went to buy a 4 wheeler! It is an older (97 Honda Fourtrax) model but we have already had so much fun with it. Tonight, when Donovan was napping we rode around on our land and had a blast!
Saturday night we got a babysitter for the first official date night since Donovan was born. We went to La Fiesta and ate some yummy Mexican and I enjoyed some margaritas. It was so good and relaxing! Then off we went to bowl. I was horrible (I'm sure it was because of the margaritas and Bud Light I enjoyed at the bowling alley ;)).
When we were done bowling we decided to check out this local karaoke dive bar. It was so much fun! We danced and laughed and I'm pretty sure Josh dirty danced with an older woman named Gail. Haha. She had the hots for him big time! We stayed out way too late but it was some much needed adult time. I am already looking forward to our next night out!
Sunday we had a nice lazy day. Josh went to meet his friend Clay for lunch and Donovan and I snuggled on the couch and watched Lifetime movies. I started to read "Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins on Sunday afternoon and I could not put it down! I ended up finishing it Monday because it was so good. Sunday night was the Superbowl and we ate some goodies and hung out at the house.
Donovan also turned 11 weeks old last week. He is growing so fast.
